About UsWELCOME TO WUPA Hi! If you're a postgrad, then you need to know about WUPA, the Wollongong University Postgraduate Association. We're the peak representative body for postgraduate and Honours students enrolled at Wollongong. Our role is to advance and defend the interests and welfare of postgraduates at UOW. WUPA is located in Building 19, University of Wollongong(about 50 metres north of the university central library) GENERAL ASSISTANCE ON STUDENT MATTERS WUPA is available to give independent support to postgraduates. Common issues on which students seek information include academic rights, administrative issues, assessment appeals, grievances, discrimination, sexual harassment issues, women’s issues, international student issues and supervision issues. Make an appointment with the Student Advocacy Officer by contacting (02) 4221 4203, emailing shev@uow.edu.au or just drop by Building 19 JUST FOR POSTGRADUATES…… WUPA offers a range of social and cultural events to help postgraduates take time out of their studies and research to meet other postgraduates and have fun!
