Determining your career path and finding work can be exciting and challenging. University of Wollongong - Careers Central is working with the Woolyungah Indigenous Centre (WIC) to support Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in developing and achieving their career aspirations by providing assistance with career counselling, career education and information, and employment support.
Careers Central approaches Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students’ career aspirations with respect for your cultural values. A career counsellor will be available by appointment at WIC. Appointments can be made in person at WIC reception, by phoning (02) 4221 3776 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The career counsellor can help you clarify a career direction that fits with your skills and interests. The counsellor can also talk through the things you can do during and after your studies that will improve your chances of securing employment.
