Student Organisations
Your voice on campus
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is the legitimate
student voice on campus. It is a 28 member council elected
by the student body each October to take office on the
1st of January the following year.

Student Representative Council
The SRC provides a number of services for students
including organising social events like bands, performance
nights and free weekly barbecues; organising forums
on the lawn; producing a student newspaper, the Tertangala
and student handbooks; running a second hand book store
where students can buy old textbooks, cheap photocopying
and free legal consultation. Check out the SRC
website.
Getting involved
Clubs and Societies also offer a unique opportunity
to participate in student social life, giving students
and staff the potential to develop skills and abilities
or discover new interests. Students can start their
own club if their interests are not met by one of the
more than 50 clubs available. University life is all
about taking part and as you increase your involvement,
your circle of friends will increase and you'll gain
transferable skills, one of the attributes employers
look for in graduates.

Clubs & Societies
The Clubs and Societies Office is supported by the
UniCentre and SRC and you can find out more information
by visiting the Clubs
and Societies website.
