A flexible on-line learning environment

The Journals Access area is an exciting University of Wollongong Library space opened in 2002 and proving very popular with clients. Students are attracted to the area by the larger work spaces and state of the art equipment available for accessing electronic journals. Excellent support is provided by Library staff to assist search techniques and ensure smooth access to networked resources. The area offers a flexible on-line learning environment where students can search the Library's 7,000 ejournals or locate items from reading lists on the web-based catalogue. They can also type an assignment, email their lecturer or use the many software applications to prepare a tutorial presentation. All in all, a winning combination of comfortable study spaces, technological facilities and excellent client service!

The Library Journals Access Centre

The Library website, offers a gateway to a full range of information resources, many of which are available electronically on and off campus. Resources include electronic journals, full-text databases, e-readings and links to subject-based resources. So if you need to find company information, we have created a gateway to the most important internet sites in this area. We find that students appreciate this as they can surf the Internet for a very long time without finding anything worthwhile!
