Making the most of your travel time to study or catch up on work is easy with more than 100 train services running to and from North Wollongong Station every weekday.
By train it takes about an hour to travel from Sydney's Sutherland Shire and about 90 minutes from Sydney Central, 80 minutes from Nowra or 35 mins from Albion Park.
Walk or catch the Free Shuttle Bus
It's a 15 walk from the station to Wollongong Campus or a quick ride on the free shuttle bus, which is scheduled to meet with most trains. The primary bus used is wheelchair-accessible (see timetable). and a reduced service also operates outside UOW session periods.
CityRail Timetables
More than 50 southbound and 45 northbound CityRail services frequent North Wollongong Station every weekday, running approximately every 20 minutes during peak periods.
Concessions
As a full-time, Australian student you automatically receive a discount on CityRail services. Simply show your student card when purchasing your ticket and keep it with you when travelling.
Other discounts
Discounted weekly MyTrain tickets can be purchased from the station, or MyMulti tickets (including bus travel) from the University Post Office in the UniShop.
