North Gong Shuttle Bus changes to timetable commencing 4 September 2017

Please be aware the North Gong Shuttle Bus timetable has been amended to be more efficient and effective in peak periods.
Changes will commence Monday 4 September. New timetables are available on the shuttle bus app, at bus stops and can be downloaded - NG Shuttle timetable.pdf.

Bulli Pass closure – 28 August – 3 November 2017

Roads and Maritime Services is temporarily closing Bulli Pass from Monday 28 August - Friday 3 November 2017 to install rock fall protection fencing. Detours will be in place via Lawrence Hargrave Dr, Memorial Dr and the M1 Princes Motorway. Bulli pass will be open temporarily for the October long weekend from 3pm Friday 29 September - 9am Tuesday 3 October. There is likely to be congestion around the University, particularly University Ave , Mount Ousley Road and Irvine St. Consider using alternative access routes such as Robsons Road. Please allow ample travel time and consider using public transport.

Parking Changes for UOW Permit Holders - P3 Carpark

The P3 South Western Multistorey Carpark will be available from July 2017.  UOW permit bays that were unavailable in P3 during construction will be returned for use and will include 84 covered car spaces and 16 covered motorcycle spaces.  It is important to note that the temporary TAFE Carpark arrangements (that have been in use during the P3 construction) will no longer be available for UOW Permit holders.  This change takes effect from 1st July 2017.  Future works are also planned for an extension to the P5 Northern Carpark with an additional 180 car spaces, is due for completion early 2018.

Find everything you need on the travelling from your suburb pages.  There are a range of free shuttle buses to the Wollongong Campus, other local buses, bike racks and secure bike lock up and end of trip facilities, and carpooling for three people in a car.      

Update your UOW Shuttle app

A new version of the UOW Shuttle app has been released for the start of session!  The app now allows you to save your favourite trips, track the UOW buses (not the Government Gong Shuttle) and navigation is a whole lot easier!  If you already have the app on an Android device, you will need to download the new app from the Play Store.
