New Route 41 “Dapto” bus a bonus for Unanderra and Figtree too

The new 41 bus introduced a few weeks ago now provides a direct service to the Uni from Dapto Station and all stops along the Princes Highway and Robsons Road. Timed to arrive at UOW at 8:19, 9:19 and 10:19am, this provides a quick and timely link for residents in the southern suburbs, taking just 11 minutes to get from O’Briens Rd Figtree to the University. Plenty of space on O’Briens road for drop-offs or parking if you want to “park and ride”. Find out more about getting to UOW from your suburb

Bike Maintenance stations

Need to pump up your tyres or tighten your brakes?

Wollongong Campus now has two 'do it yourself' bike service stations to help keep your pushie in tip top condition. These are located on the south side of Building 20, and north of the UniBar in the Jugglers lawn. Happy cycling.

Shuttle and Parking APPs

for iPhone and Android

Want to know how long til the next shuttle bus? Checkout the UOW Shuttle iPhone app or Android app.  This gives you the times for the next 55, NG or GK shuttle going your way. You can also track the location of the NG or GK shuttle on the dynamic map.

There is also a UOW Parking iPhone app and Android app.  The app lists available spaces for ticket, permit or carpool to help find that elusive parking spot. Note - we strongly encourage you to car pool if you are bringing a car to campus for many reasons, but also so you have a passenger and are not tempted to use your phone while driving.

New shared Path heading South

Wollongong City Council has finished a new pedestrian and cycling link to the south of Wollongong Campus through Keiraville. Cross Northfields Ave in front of UniCentre and you now have 1.3km of cycleway and paths heading south. This takes you along Paulsgrove and John sts to the new path though the beautiful trees at Nyrang Park. Quiet streets beyond take you a further 0.7km before you rejoin Robsons Road.
