Get Your Concession:
- New students will be issued with a concession stamp imprinted into their first student card if they are enrolling full time, when they attend their enrolment day. This will last for the first 12 months of study.
- After your first concession has expired, visit Student Central with a completed application form (opens in external site). You will then receive a replacement sticker on your card.
- Sattelite Campus students can visit their local campus (SBS, Batemans Bay, Bega, Moss Vale, Shoalhaven, Shouthern Sydney) rather than Student Central with a completed application form (opens in external site).
NOTE: You will need to ensure you have enrolled into a full time study load before collecting a replacement concession.
Use Your Concession:
Your pass is valid for travel on CityRail and local bus services. Simply have your pass ready to show the driver when boarding a bus or buying your ticket, and keep it with you when travelling.
Lost Concessions:
If you lose your concession, you can apply to RailCorp for a replacement by completing the replacement application form (opens in external site) and returning it to Student Central to verify. The fee for a replacement pass is $26.00 and will be issued directly from RailCorp. You will need to wait a few weeks for RailCorp to process your application and send you the replacement.

Which Pass?
MyMulti passes apply to specific areas so you should check whether they suit your needs before you purchase. You can download a map of the zones (opens an external site) to check if the ticket meets your travel needs, based on where you live and which campus you will travel to.
It is also recommended that you compare the costs of normal tickets to ensure you will be getting the most value for your money, by checking your trips on the fares website (opens an external site).
Refunds and Lost Passes:
If you decide you no longer need your pass, you can request a refund by returning your ticket to Student Central and paying a fee of $13.50. You will be refunded a partial amount depending on how much time is left on your pass, which will be calculated by NSW Transport.
If your ticket is lost or stolen, you can apply for a replacement ticket by contacting Student Central and paying the replacement fee of $25.00.
More Information:
More information on the passes is available from NSW Transport on their travel discount website and FAQs for International Students (open in external sites).
If you have questions about purchasing the passes from UOW, please contact Student Central.
