Chancellor Robert Hope Memorial PrizeThe Chancellor Robert Hope Memorial Prize was established in 2004 by the University Council as its only prize and is named in honour of the University's first Chancellor. The recipient of this annual award receives a prize of $10,000 as well as the Robert Hope Medal. All students graduating from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor degree completed in the calendar year of the prize and at least 96 credit points from study at the University of Wollongong are eligible for the award, which is presented at the December graduation ceremonies. Nominees must have made a substantial contribution to the University community and/or broader community, with consistently excellent academic performance. Nominations The Nomination Period for 2007 has now closed. The nomination period for 2008 will open in the second half of 2008.
