Awarded to the best woman graduate in Science - The Larry Hick Award ($1000)-to assist travel to a research conference
The award is to be presented annually to a UoW HDR student in the School of Chemistry who in the opinion of the selection committee has published the best research paper in the 12 months prior to the presentation - R. McC. Lilley Honours Prize ($350)
Awarded to the student who performs best in the overall mark and grade for their Honours year. - RACI Analytical Chemistry Award ($500)
Awarded to the student with the highest final mark in CHEM314 - Instrumental Analysis
Science Alumni
- The Alumni Bookshop Faculty Prize ($300)
This prize is open to students completing an Honours year or in the final year of a four year degree (or double degree). This prize is awarded to a student deemed to have the highest performance, as determined by the Dean.

Awarded to the student with the highest mark in CHEM401 or CHEM402/403. - G.W. Daniels Memorial Prize for 2nd Year Chemistry ($100)
Awarded to the student with the highest WAM in 24 credit points of 200-level CHEM subjects, with at least 6 credit points completed in the year of the award. - JJR Medicinal Chemistry Honours Prize ($250)
Awarded to student with the highest mark in CHEM460 MedChem Research Project and 1st Class Honours - The Larry & Marilyn Hick Award ($1000)
Awarded to the student who, in the opinion of the selection committee, has been the major author of the best research paper in the 12 months prior to the presentation. Eligible students must have been enrolled in a MSc (Research_ or PhD for no more than 3.5 FTE years. - Peter Beckmann Memorial Prize ($250)
Awarded to the student who achieves the highest WAM for 24 credit points of 300-level Chemistry subjects, with at least 8 credit points of these subjects completed in the year of the award. - Pharmaxis Prize for Medicinal Chemistry ($250)
Awarded to the student with the highest mark in CHEM460. - RACI Analytical Chemistry Award
