Undergrad Scholarship (3 - $4,000p.a.) The scholarship is based on recent school work, leadership and community involvement, UAI score and an interview.
Blue Scope Steel Scholarship The scholarship is open to an outstanding candidate in the Second Year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree. It is a competitive scholarship awarded based on academic results in the first year as well as community activities and a demonstrated interest in following a career in Commerce. The scholarship includes summer vacation employment between the second and third year of studies.
Honours Scholarships ($3000)
Faculty sponsorship for student's honours year. Determined by BCom results and an interview. Maximum of two on offer from each School.
Liquor Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union Scholarship ($2000) The scholarship is open to an outstanding full time undergraduate student, entering the first year of study in any degree in the Faculty of Commerce or a double degree with the Faculty of Commerce at the Wollongong Campus. The holder must be an Australian citizen and a relative of a current financial member of the LHMU (preferably from the bread sector). The scholarship provides $2000 each year for three years.

Alumni Award (Plaque) Given by the Commerce and Business Alumni Network to a Commerce graduate who has made an outstanding contribution in work and/or community activities.

CPA Australia #1 Annual prize ($650) The prize will be awarded to the student who on the first attempt attained the highest mark for the subject ACCY100 &102. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
CPA Australia #2 Annual prize ($650) The prize will be awarded to the student who on the first attempt attained the highest mark for the subject ACCY201 Financial Accounting IIB. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
CPA Australia #3 Annual prize ($650) The prize will be awarded to the student who on the first attempt attained the highest mark for the subject ACCY305 Financial Accounting III. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Prize ($400) The prize shall be open to students enrolled in the subject ACCY342 (Auditing and Assurance Services) and shall be given to the student who, at the first attempt, attained the highest mark for the subject. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared.
KPMG Accountants Prize for Business Finance ($500) The prize shall be open to students enrolled in the subject FIN221 (Business Finance I) and shall be given to the student who, at the first attempt, attained the highest mark for the subject. In the event of tie, the prize money will be shared. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
Orestis Trikas Prize -Trust Fund (prize varies) The prize shall be open to students enrolled in the subject ACCY211 (Management Accounting II) and shall be given to the student who achieved the highest mark. The prize is named after a former student who died as a result of an automobile accident prior to completing his degree-and his parents set up a trust fund for this prize.
Allan Coote Memorial Prize - Trust Fund ($350)
The prize shall be open to an outstanding candidate in the Bachelor of Commerce degree. Candidates will be eligible to apply if they are majoring in Accountancy and/or Finance. The award will be made to the student who, on the first attempt, earned the highest weighted average mark (WAM) in the following subjects, taken within the same year: ACCY202, ACCY221 and either ACCY211 or FIN223. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
Financial Services Institute of Australasia Prize ($250)
The prize shall be open to candidates for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce and shall be made to the student who, at the first attempt, attained the best overall average mark for FIN325 (Bank Management) during the previous academic year.
Association of Taxation and Mgmt Accountants ($300)
The prize shall be open to the student who has earned the highest mark in ACCY228 (Tax Planning) during the previous academic year.
BHP Billiton/Mark Smuk Memorial Prize ($1000)
The prize shall be open to the student who achieves the highest mark in ACCY312 (Management Accounting III).

Kothes Chartered Accountants Prize for 1st Year Accounting ($500)
The prize will be open to all students enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) at Bega Education Centre. Student is to achieve the highest mark in ACCY100 (Accounting IA) or ACCY102 (Accounting IB).
Kothes Chartered Accountants Prize for Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
The prize will be open to all students enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) at Bega Education Centre. Student is to achieve the highest WAM in calendar year in all 200-level and above subjects attempted, with a minimum credit point total of 36 and a minimum WAM of 75.
School of Economics and Information Systems
InfoComp Prize ($1000)
The award shall be open to candidates for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Business Information Systems and shall be made to the candidate attaining the highest aggregate of marks for the subjects comprising the course. A candidate who has failed a subject in the course is not eligible for the award. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
Wollongong City Council Prize ($1500)
The award shall be determined by averaging the results achieved by students who have completed the Master of Information Systems. The student who has earned the highest average will be awarded the prize providing that this results in a mark of at least 70.
SAS Institute Prize ($500)
The prize shall be open to a candidate for a Commerce Degree at the UOW. The award shall be presented to the student who has earned the highest average results achieved in the following subjects during the same calendar year:BUSS211 (Requirements Determination and Systems Analysis), andBUSS212 (Database Management Systems). The student who has earned the highest average will be awarded the prize providing that this results is a mark of at least 70. The prize will be awarded only if there is a student of sufficient merit.
IRIS/Steinke Prize ($500 + plaque & service)
The prize shall be awarded to the outstanding student who has earned the highest mark in 300 level Economics subjects (Commerce Schedule C3) during the same academic year (Autumn/Spring Sessions) and who is enrolled in at least 16 credit points of Economics 300 level subjects (C3). In the event of a tie the prize money will be shared. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit as indicated by achieving an average result of 75 or above.
Kenneth A. Blakey Prize in Intermediate Microeconomics ($500)
The award shall be open to an outstanding student, from any Faculty, who successfully completes ECON215 on the Wollongong campus in the Summer, Autumn or Spring Session of a given academic year. The student who has achieved the highest aggregate mark in ECON215 will be awarded the prize. The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit. Pearson Education Australia Prize Quantitative Methods I ($250 Book Voucher)
The award shall be open to an outstanding student, from any Faculty who successfully completes ECON121 or COMM121 on the Wollongong campus in the Summer, Autumn or Spring Session of a given academic year. The Illawarra Business Chamber Annual Award for Intermediate Macroeconomics ($500)
The prize will be awarded to the candidate who achieves the highest mark in ECON205 Macroeconomic Theory and Policy. in the event of a tie the prize will be shared.
Meyrick & Associates Prize ($500) The award shall be made to the student who, in the final year of their degree at the first attempt, attained the best overall mark for ECON305 (Economic Policy) during the previous academic year.
Meyrick & Associates Prize for Economics (Honours) ($500)
The award shall be made to the student who receives the best overall mark in the Bachelor of Commerce-Economics (Honours), Honours Class II Division 1.

AHRI Prize for Excellence (Membership)
The prize will be awarded to the student who has earned the highest weighted average in the Human Resource Management major over the duration of the M.Com. program. The recipient of the prize will be eligible to apply for consideration for the AHRI Award for Outstanding Achievement which is determined by the Institute.
IRIS Centre for Small Business Research Prize ($250)
The prize will be awarded to the postgraduate student who achieves the highest mark in Small Business Management (MGMT 941). The prize will be awarded only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared.
IERA Prize ($250)

Pearson Education Australia Prize in Management for South Coast and Southern Highlands Campus ($250)
The award shall be open to an outstanding student, from any Faculty, who successfully completes MGMT110 on the South Coast, Southern Highlands, or Loftus (for the results of 2005 onward) campus in the Autumn or Spring Session of a given academic year. The student who has achieved the highest aggregate mark in MGMT110 will be awarded the prize.
Law/Marketing Prize ($500)
The award shall be open to candidates from the double degree Bachelor of Commerce/ Bachelor of Laws with a single major in Marketing. The award goes to the student with the highest WAM in the major.
