PASS

Autumn 2012 Supported Subjects Announced

PASS provides Peer Assisted Study Sessions, where students work together to reinforce key concepts and develop effective study strategies. Think "super group" learning! The PASS program runs on a range of subjects encompassing all faculties across the University of Wollongong. The list of subjects being run on the Wollongong campus can be seen here. Whether you are a top performer or could use some improvement, you will benefit from the skills and understanding gained from attending PASS. Results from Autumn 2011 have shown that students who regularly attend PASS achieved 11 marks better on average than non-attending students. Also, students who did not attend PASS were 5 times as likely to fail. PASS is also a great way to network with other students in your course.

PASS will support:

  • 37 subjects at Wollongong Campus
  • 1 subject at Sydney Business School at Innovation Campus
  • 4 subjects at Batemans Bay Education Centre
  • 2 subjects at Bega Education Centre
  • 4 subjects at Shoalhaven Campus
  • 5 subjects at Southern Sydney Education Centre
  • 1 subject at Moss Vale Education Centre

99 Leaders will facilitate the PASS sessions – sharing their experiences with you each week.
