Celeste’s areas of interest include English and Italian literature and English language teaching. As well, her research involves examining the practice of Learning Development support in remote campuses and how students' needs can be met.
Celeste’s work at UOW main campus involves

- integration of academic literacies
She is the generic workshop co-ordinator for 2007 which provides academic literacy workshops for all students of the university of Wollongong both in the Autumn and Spring sessions.
