Using assessment topic keywords to find books

Recall that in Guide 1 we discussed that at university there is an expectation that you will find additional references and not limit your research to only those provided by your lecturer.

To do this you will need to use searchable topic keywords from your assessment task.

Activity

Subject Outlines include details of assessment tasks, which might include a background statement and an assessment question.

Look at the example question and note which topic keywords have been identified.

Activity

Look at the tips for selecting searchable keywords.

Now look at a different assessment topic.

Discuss problems consumers may experience from the increased use of wireless technology.

After looking at the tips for selecting searchable keywords and the topic above, type the keywords you could use into the box provided.
