Google Search

Your feedback has shown that there was room for improvement with our online search. We’ve listened, and that’s why we welcome Google search to UOW websites.

Installation of the Google Search Appliance will not only improve the standard of search available on UOW sites, but will allow for a range of customisations that will improve your user experience. Keep your eyes out for those in the coming months.

SOLS & Mail Login

After the release of the new Current Students homepage in early 2011 we received a lot of student feedback. Many of you considered the page a major improvement however found the new login boxes difficult to use. Since this time UOW has been collating all your feedback and working to simplify the login process.

As a result of this we have implemented the following improvements to the login boxes:

Hover feature removed
Username and password fields watermarked
Enter key will now submit and launch SOLS

We look forward to your ongoing feedback and continuing to improve your online experience.

Student Quota Increase

We’ve been listening to students through Feedback @UOW and we’ve heard what you have to say about your quota!

As a result we are pleased to announce that as part of the continuous improvement of IT Services to UOW students, your quota allocation has been doubled to 2GB for Spring Session 2011 – Happy Studying!

Student Experience Questionnaire

The annual Student Experience Questionnaire (SEQ) analyses the trends and attitudes of University of Wollongong students. We will report back later in the year with information about how the University has responded to your feedback in 2011.

International Student Barometer
