. The graduates (pictured) were Joel Moitsheki from South Africa and the other was Bronwyn Bradshaw-Hajek from Adelaide. All returned for the July 15 Informatics graduation ceremony. Joel comes from a small village called Ramatlabama in South Africa and he said being the first overseas PhD graduate in his village was almost like being a Hollywood star. Joel described homesickness as a big challenge but praised the support system UOW has in place to deal with these situations.'))

 was well represented with graduating staff members at the Faculty of Informatics ceremony on July 15. Pictured (from left) are Adrian Fitzpatrick (Bachelor of Computer Science), Anita Scimone (Bachelor of Internet Science and Technology), Therese Jones (Bachelor of Computer Science) and Tom West (Bachelor of Computer Science). Adrian, Anita and Therese were part of a roving help team in ITS assisting students in the computer labs who experienced problems using the computers. In addition, Adrian was part of the University’s web development team.'))
