Graduation Photos

Graduating students from the Faculties of Arts,
Creative Arts, Law, Education, Health and Behavioural
Sciences, and Science.
Mid-year graduations were held at the University of
Wollongong on 30 July, 31 July and 1 August. Over these
three days there were over 1,200 graduates and more
than 4,000 guests attending the campus.
We congratulate the graduates on their individual achievements
and wish them well in their future endeavours.

Moloney were among the first graduates of the
University of Wollongong\ns Centre for Transnational
Crime Prevention.<br> <br>
Ms Scott received a masters in transnational
crime prevention, while Ms O\'Malley and Ms Maloney
along with Qianrong Wang, who was absent from
the ceremony, also received masters with distinction.
The three graduates, who all have backgrounds
in operational policing, said the course gave
them the opportunity to carry out indepth research
in an area where specialties do not currently

Scholar Helen Christie has already enrolled in
further studies at the University of Wollongong.
Ms Christie plans to study a Diploma in Education
before considering an option to study adult education.
Ms Christie said that she had "savored"
every moment of her degree and appreciated the
support of her UOW mentor, Professor Gerry Turcott,
Head of the University\'s English Studies

creative arts and law students.<br>

The seasoned television and radio journalist
has held a long time ambition to ad formal tertiary
qualifications to her training on the job. As
part of her master degree project Mrs Johnston
wrote and publishes an article on the popular
Ginger Meggs cartoon character, created 82 years
ago by her great great uncle Jimmy Bancks.'))
