International Tuition Fees: Payment Advices and Fee Statements
Before you can pay your Uni fees, you will need to be able to understand your bills. This page will explain how to read and understand payment advices (UOW bills) and SOLS Fee Statements.
- Hardcopy Payment Advice
- SOLS Fee Statement
1. Hardcopy Payment Advice
If you are enrolled into subjects at least 2 weeks prior to the study period census date, you will receive a paper payment advice to your mailing address.
Remember that all payments need to be finalised before the census date to avoid cancellation of enrolment, so you will need to let us know if you are waiting on a payment advice but haven't received it, in case it has been lost in the mail. You can email our fees team at student-fees@uow.edu.au to organise to have one sent to you.
If you change your enrolment after the payment advice has been sent out, you will not automatically receive a new one, so keep this in mind when you get your bill. It will outline all the subjects you are being billed for, and you should make sure these match your enrolments. You can also check your fee statement on SOLS which is updated every 24 hours.
For a detailed explanation of how to read the payment advice, have a look at this example.
2. SOLS Fee Statement
To check your fees online (updated every 24 hours), log onto SOLS and select 'Fee Statement' from the left hand menu. The simple view which appears will only show any outstanding balances you have. To view your full statement, including upcoming amounts due, click on the hyperlink in blue;
The screen which follows will show all your charges and payments.
