This tool should only be used as a guide and not relied upon in the course of making decisions. Calculations assume that there are no overdue amounts on your statement and amount due only include course fees.

Normally permanent residents and New Zealand citizens are not eligible for this discount.

NOTE: As of the 1st of January 2012, the upfront HECS-HELP discount changed from 20% to 10%. The calculator on this page will calculate the current discount. Census dates which fall after the 1st of January 2012 will be affected by the change.
