Terms and conditions

A fee of $150 (including GST) per student per session will be charged. The fee covers administration, exam supervision, venue hire fee, postage for the return of exam scripts and fax charges. The fee can be invoiced to either the student or the home institution. Invoices will be sent after the exam has been conducted.

Morning sessions start at 9am and afternoon sessions at 1:30pm. All start times are standardised to these times. Reading time, if permitted, will begin at this time. Students are advised to arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the start of the exam.

Exams will normally be held on weekdays. Saturday and evening exams are negotiable but usually only conducted during our standard exam periods.

UOW does not require students to confirm in advance their intention to sit their exam.

UOW does request students to provide at least 24 hours notice of non-attendance by either phone or email.

Exam papers and material must be sent to the address in the Contact UOW section at least one week prior to the exam, or any exam arrangements made may be cancelled. Exam papers will not be accepted by email. Material should be clearly labelled by the home institution and include the subject code and title, the scheduled date, time and length of the examination. Detailed instructions for the supervisor should also be provided. Where possible, the instructions and rules of the home institution will be followed.

The home institution should provide self-addressed envelopes, courier pouches or make other such arrangements for the return of worked scripts and other exam materials.

UOW does not photocopy worked exam scripts.
