Temporary or Permanent Cessation of Enrolment
When can my course be cancelled, deferred or suspended?
As a student of the University of Wollongong your enrolment may be permanently or temporarily ceased or deferred by the University. Below is a list of when this may happen.
Your course may be deferred in the following circumstances:
- The result of a deferred course commencement date
- Approved leave of absence
Your enrolment may be suspended in the following circumstances:
- The result of disciplinary actions for academic or non academic misconduct
- Failing to make satisfactory academic progress
The University of Wollongong can cease your enrolment in the following circumstances:
- Failing to re-enrol for a compulsory session
- Non Payment of Fees
- Failure to provide citizenship or visa information and/or complete a valid Request for Commonwealth Support and HECS-HELP Form.
- Failing to make satisfactory academic progress
- The result of disciplinary actions for academic or non academic misconduct
