COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT GRANTS
The Office of Community & Partnerships is pleased to announce the extension of the Community Engagement Grants Scheme (CEGS) into its second round. Up to $40,000 has been allocated in 2006 to support innovative community engagement projects.
The Scheme provides funding to UOW staff and students for projects that are predominantly service-orientated, consistent with the University's Community Engagement Plan and have a clear community benefit.
Applications are invited for small grants of between $1,000 and $10,000. Funding will be awarded on a competitive basis. The application procedure is NOT time consuming; it has deliberately been kept short and is easy to complete. Simply fill in a two page expression of interest form and lodge it with the Office of Community & Partnerships by 5pm, Friday 5 May 2006.
