ICIS Ski Trip this weekend
This weekend take advantage of a bumper ski season and explore the beauty of Australia’s snowy mountains with this great value package! Open to all students - trip hosted by the Illawarra Committee for International Students.
Date: Friday, 3 August 2007 – Sunday, 5 August 2007
Cost: $265 per person - only additional costs: ski lift pass and 2 x lunches.
Includes:
- Return coach transport from the University to Jindabyne & Perisher ski fields - All ski gear hire (skis/snowboards, boots, & ski jackets/pants) - 2 nights shared accommodation at Carinya Alpine Village - 3 x dinners; 3 x breakfasts - Experienced group leaders with skiing & outdoor skills - National Park entry fee Sat & Sun
A full package is available for $390 per person which includes 2 x beginners skiing lessons and lift passes for Sat & Sun.
Bus departs UOW on Friday @ 12 noon & returns on Sunday @ 10 pm
What to bring: a sleeping bag or bedsheets, pillow case, towel, warm comfortable clothing/shoes and your personal belongings.
For skiing: goggles or sunglasses, waterproof gloves, woollen hat, scarf and long, thin woollen socks. A full checklist will be provided when you book
