Microsoft Office 2007
The recently released Microsoft Office 2007 introduces a new file format which is not currently supported in the UOW eLearning space. This means that Assignments submitted in Microsoft Office 2007 format will not be recognised by earlier versions of Microsoft Office for Mac and PC.
To avoid problems during Spring Session, students creating eLearning Assignments in Microsoft Office 2007 should use the 'Save As' function and select:
- Word 97-2003 Document for Microsoft Office Word files (.doc file extension)
- Excel 97-2003 Workbook for Microsoft Office Excel files (.xls file extension)
- Powerpoint 97-2003 Presentation for Microsoft Office PowerPoint files (.ppt file extension)
