Dementia Education Online Resource
The Eastern Australia Dementia Training and Study Centre (EADTSC) is pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Dementia Education Online’ resource, a website providing flexible learning for undergraduate and postgraduate students wishing to further their dementia care education and/or professional development.
Developed by leading academics at the University of Wollongong, Queensland University of Technology, and Griffith University, this free resource includes content about (i) types of dementia and the impact of dementia on a person with dementia and his/ her carer, (ii) assessment and screening for dementia, and (iii) communication in dementia care. These are the three essential elements of good quality dementia care.
