Email Outage this Sunday 2pm - 5pm

As you may have noticed during the last week, the performance of the UOW email system has been notably slower than usual. This is believed to be the result of implementing a vendor recommended patch during the last scheduled outage. In order to rectify this performance degradation, ITS would like to work with the vendor this Sunday from 2pm - 5pm. During this 3 hour maintenance period, UOW email services for staff and students will be unavailable. All incoming email will be saved at our email gateway, and delivered when email services are restored.
Notices will be placed on public web interfaces, and the staff intranet advising all users of this maintenance period.
