The Faculty of Arts in conjunction with the Historic Houses Trust of NSW would like to invite you to:
RESEARCHING THE LOCAL
A workshop for students thinking about honours at the University of Wollongong.
At Shoalhaven Campus on September 16, starting at 10 am
Morning tea and a complimentary lunch will be provided followed by a tour of the Meroogal House Museum, a property of the Historic Houses Trust, in Nowra.
We have also arranged transport to and from Wollongong campus free of charge. The bus will depart from Wollongong campus at 8:45 am and return at 5 pm.
There are still some places available on the bus travelling from the Wollongong campus to the Shoalhaven campus for Friday’s workshop.

Glenn Mitchell on Port Kembla, Nancy Huggett on Cinema Going in the Illawarra during the 1920s and 30s, Ruth Richmond on her research for a Political Biography of John Hatton (the retired MLA for South Coast) and Dorothy Jones now retired from English Studies on Researching Material Culture.
