Law Week

Law Week opens at Wollongong Court House, Market St Wollongong, at 9.30 am Monday 16 May. There will be a welcome to country by Uncle Gerald Brown and guest speakers including His Honour Judge Norm Delaney. Light refreshments provided. Other Law week activities include:
• A “Hypothetical” on Tuesday 17 May at 5.30pm in the District Court based on a year 12 formal gone wrong: alcohol, drag racing and tragedy. An outstanding panel has been assembled to discuss these serious issues with sensitivity.
• Thursday 18 May at 5.30pm at the District Court, “The Trial of the Reasonably Practical Pig”, written by the UOW Law Faculty’s Bill Dalley and performed by lawyers, students and the wider fraternity. The 3rd little pig faces charges for slaying the Big Bad Wolf. Great script, costumes, cast and props will make this an enjoyable performance.
