Carpool Parking Locations
Dear student,
Carpooling has really taken off. We are regularly seeing over 300 cars a day using the free carpool parking. Far too many to all be catered for in the Parking Station (Multi-storey Carpark) so it's been necessary to set aside additional space on campus in the Western Carpark.
This will continue during session with both the Parking Station (primary site) and the Western Carpark (overflow) providing spaces if you have 3 or more in your car.
Note that during the quieter weeks outside session (eg week of 10th April) the Parking Station will continue to cater for carpoolers but the Western Carpark overflow area will not be available as it will not be staffed.
Thanks for your support of this exercise. It appears to have been well accepted by all and we hope it will be having a significant impact on greenhouse gas emissions as well as your travel costs.
