5000 dollars for community project

Would $5,000 help you get a project off the ground which has the potential to really impact the wider community?

The Community Engagement Grants Scheme (CEGS), run by the University’s Office of Community & Partnerships (OCP), is providing a total funding pool of $50,000 for collaborative community projects that provide mutual benefits for the University and community alike. $5,000 of the $50,000 is reserved for student applications.

CEGS is designed to encourage and support educational, research or outreach projects which enhance the University’s engagement with the communities it serves.

Individual students and student groups are encouraged to contact the OCP office on 4221 3110 for further information or email taral@uow.edu.au

Expressions of interest (EOI) in CEGS Round 5 must be lodged by 8 May 2009.

Guidelines and an EOI form can be downloaded from
