Ass/Prof Reza Mirmohseni
Reza has been to IPRI for 1 month in March and another month in September again this year to work on conducting polymer applications. Reza is a visiting fellow from the University of Tabriz, Iran.
Siree Tangbunsuk
Visited IPRI from Kasetsart University, Thailand. Siree worked on the synthesis of polypyrrole nanodispersions for 3 months here at IPRI.
Amy Ballantyne
Visited with IPRI for 4 months this year from Massey University, New Zealand, working on new functionalised terthiophene materials for applications in actuation, battery and photovoltaic devices.
Dr William Megill
Spent 2 weeks at IPRI from the University of Bath looking at the actuation of polymers.
Sarah Brady
Worked in IPRI for 3 months on coating microfluidic channels with conducting polymers. Sarah was visiting from Dublin City University, Ireland.
Eoin Murray
Also visiting from Dublin City University, Eoin stayed for 4 weeks looking at solid state NMR on conducting polymers.
Rishi Gupta
Visited from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA for 8 weeks. Whilst here at IPRI, Rishi was working on a research project that investigated the potential of carbon nanotubes to act as host material in inherently conducting polymer (ICP) containing nanomaterials; particularly single wall nanotube PMAS complexes.
Professor Dennis Tallman
Once again Dennis visited IPRI for a month from the North Dakota State University, USA. Whilst here Dennis conducted a very popular workshop on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy.
Professor Seon Jeong Kim
From Hanyang University, Korea spent 3 months with IPRI working on an ARC Linkage International project. His research was on nanotube hydrogel composites.
