In contrast to the perception of a scientific researcher beavering away in isolation, your Honours year will see you working with a diversity of people. You will draw on and enhance the interpersonal skills you already have, and develop new skills. An important part of learning to be an independent researcher is to know when and how to call on others, and when to lock the door and write.
