SAL Spatial Teaching Laboratory


The STL (41.G21) is where geospatial coursework practicals are held. The lab consists of 25 PCs and, when not booked for practical sessions, is available to students enrolled in STL subjects between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

There is no ‘out of hours’ access to this lab available.


Subjects that use this lab include:

  • Introduction to Spatial Science
  • Remote Sensing the Environment
  • Geographic Information Science

STL Demonstrators are only available to provide practical support during scheduled classes. If you have a question about an STL prac outside of your practical session, please contact your course coordinator.
