Field Equipment

The School is well equipped for field research in the most isolated parts of the continent with:

truck-mounted, trailer-mounted and other portable drill rigs,

vitrocorer,

surveying equipment,

4WD vehicles

boats including the "Pure Logic" marine research vesel

radios (codan & VHS) and

global positioning systems (GPS).

The following GPS equipment is used for both research and undergraduate teaching:
