This Event will be held at the University in the Main foyer (first floor) building 41, commencing at 6.30pm with light refreshments. Presentations will begin at 7.30pm.

The 7th International Symposium on GIS and computer cartography for Coastal Zone Management

     

The symposium will be held in Wollongong and Sydney from Thursday 13th to Monday 17th July 2006.

Professor Lesley Head has also been awarded a King Carl XVI Gustaf Visiting Professorship in Environmental Sciences through the Swedish Foundation for International Co-operation in Research and Higher Education.

Professor Lesley Head has also been elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities for interdisciplinary approaches to archaeological and geographical research.
