Congratulations!
Hilary Johnson, one of Di Jolley’s tribe of honours students, has been awarded the 2006 ASE (Australasian Society for Ecotoxicology) Honours Prize. Hilary will present an invited seminar at the Interact 2006 conference in Perth. He will also be presented with a cheque for $750 and an engraved trophy at the conference dinner and will also receive an ASE Travel Scholarship worth $1000.
Andy Minett won the poster prize at the Nanotechnology Conference held in Brisbane in July.

Kamonchanok Wongsooksin will be working in the Bremner Lab for 5 months on her PhD on the molecular basis of the dyeing of silk with natural dyes. She is from Suranaree University of Technology, Korat, Thailand, and is completing her PhD through that University.

Nutchanat Phonkird, is a visiting fellow from Khon Khan University in Thailand and interested in the synthesis of bioactive alkaloids. Nutchanat will be working with Prof. Stephen Pyne.

Kanlaya Jumpatong, is a visiting fellow from Chiang Mai University. Kanlaya will also be working with Prof. Stephen Pyne, over the next 12 months, in the area of natural product synthesis.
