Dr. Sharon Robinson is a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Wollongong. She is being funded by the Antarctic Division to look at the effects of climate change on moss which is one of the few plant species to be found in Antarctica. Her diary and digital pictures were emailed back to Andrew in Wollongong who put them into the Australian Flora and Fauna Research Centre's (AFFRC) Web site (Now the ICB).

The projects which are based in and around the Australian Antarctic Division's Casey Base are now (1998-99) in their third season. This year Sharon is working with Jane Wasley who is her PhD student at Wollongong University.
