Oceans and coasts policy

Ron is a Deputy-Director of the Centre Maritime Policy at the University of Wollongong and is currently working with Professor Martin Tsamenyi on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing in Indonesia and Philippines. He is also supervising a number of PhD students in areas of coastal and maritime research. He is member of the NSW Scientific Committee dealing with threatened fish species and Chairperson of the Wollongong Estuary Management Committee.
