Biography

Dr Mark Rix has been a Senior Lecturer of the Sydney Business School for a number of years teaching in discipline areas of managing people, organisational behaviour, corporate governance and managing multinationals.  Dr Rix also holds the position of the School’s Program Co-ordinator for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.

Mark maintains an active research profile, with his research interests focusing on public administration and corporate governance in the public and not-for-profit sectors; access to justice and human rights; counter-terrorism, rule of law and national security. Mark’s research has been widely published in a number of journals including; the Australian Journal of Public Administration Prometheus, Alternative Law Journal, Australian and New Zealand Health Policy, Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management and, Crimes and Misdemeanours.

Mark represents the School on the Business Academics Research Directors' Network (BARDsNET), a group supported by the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management and the Australian Business Deans' Council.
