Background

Dr Mark Rix has been a member of the Graduate School of Business for a number of years. He teaches subjects in organisational behaviour and international human resource management.

Research Interests

Mark's research interests are mainly in the field of public policy and public administration, with a focus on issues relating to social exclusion, access to justice and citizenship. Mark has recently returned from academic secondment to the Centre for Health Service Development where he contributed to a number of the Centre's research projects, specifically, dealing with children's health and wellbeing and evidence-based public health policy, and the needs of informal caregivers. He has also worked on developing Masters programs in health management and health services research.

Mark has recently had articles on his research published in the Australian Journal of Public Administration, Alternative Law Journal, Third Sector Review, Australian and New Zealand Health Policy, and the Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management.
