Carrick GrantsThe Carrick Institute, named after Sir John Carrick KCMG the Commonwealth Minister for Education from 1975-79, was launched in August 2004. The institute is dedicated to promoting better quality learning and teaching in Australian higher education. The Institute has $9.4 M to dedicate to three funding streams Leadership, Competitive Grants and Priority Projects in 2008. This is an exciting opportunity to develop learning and teaching skills across all UoW faculties and also promote greater collaboration of teaching resources and experiences between UoW and other higher education institutions. The Research Services Office and CEDIR are working together to assist interested applicants to make the most of this exciting opportunity.
