Fees for HDR Students

Domestic HDR Students ONLY - Research Training Scheme (RTS)

All HDR candidates who are Australian Citizens, Australian Permanent Residents or New Zealand citizens are exempt from paying tuition fees. This means that all domestic students enrolled in a PhD or Masters by Research will be allocated a Federal Government Research Training Scheme Place.  The RTS place is for the duration of their degree provided they remain within the Course Completion Times.

International Student Tuition Fee - International Students ONLY

International students are required to pay their tuition fee prior to enrolment.  Tuition fees are paid one session at a time.  The tuition fee will remain the same for the duration of the course, provided the course is completed in the minimum time and fixed at the level quoted in the final offer letter.  For further information about Fees for International Students or payment of international student fees please refer to Student Central, Ground Floor Building 17 or by telephoning (02) 4221 3927.

Under certain circumstances supervisors can request a Tuition Fee Scholarship from the Dean of Research.  All requests must be made in writing to the Director, Research Student Centre (RSC) and must be supported by the Dean of the Faculty.  For more information contact RSC on (02) 42215452 or research_student_centre@uow.edu.au
