Chronic and Transitory Poverty among Children
An opportunity is available for a Masters student to undertake a study in 2008-09 of chronic and transitory poverty among children in Australia under the supervision of Dr Joan Rodgers. The project involves measuring the degree of chronic and transitory poverty among children and exploring their causes and consequences.
The successful applicant will be required to use a statistical package, such as STATA, and the Household Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) data set.
A generous stipend will be paid in each of 2008 and 2009.
