Having completed my undergraduate degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2003, I was faced with the difficult decision of whether to enter the workplace or continue my education as a postgraduate. I am very glad I chose to stay at the UOW. I had the opportunity to explore in detail the areas that interested me as an undergraduate. With the full support of a great supervisor, I now see my PhD as an essential step in achieving my goal of pursuing a research-oriented career.
