UniQuest is Australia’s largest technology transfer organisation, collaborating with UoW to generate benefits for researchers, UoW and the wider community. Drawing on extensive expertise from within its ranks and associations, UniQuest’s workshops offer an intensive grounding in the processes, practices, pitfalls and potential rewards of commercialising research across a wide range of academic disciplines.
Informative and insightful speakers’ presentations are complemented by creative groupwork sessions, in preparation for teams to apply their new-found knowledge and pitch their innovative ideas to an experienced panel of commercialisation professionals.
Academic Researchers' Workshop: 1- 2 May 2008
All UoW academic staff active in research are invited to apply. A limited number of fully and partially subsidised places are available (applicants may be asked to identify matching funds). Applications close on Friday 4 April 2008.
HDR Postgraduate Student Workshop: 17 - 18 April 2008
Includes a special session on career development All HDR students from all UoW faculties are welcome to apply. Places are limited. Applications close on Friday 21 March 2008.

Cost: Workshop fees and materials, accommodation, meals, transport to and from the University are provided by UoW.
