Intellectual Property (IP) Notification Form
In order for the University to adequately protect your intellectual property (IP), it needs to be aware of your invention.
An IP Notification Form (word file 38KB) allows you to provide the University with enough information on your invention to evaluate your IP, determine the most appropriate method to protect it, and determine a commercialization strategy for it.
The form includes questions about inventorship, disclosure, innovation, technical developments and commercial potential. Completion of the form may require a reasonable time commitment from you but a considered response will save time in the long run.
Once you have completed the Form and all inventors have signed it, please return to the Manager of Innovation and Commercialisation (MIC) for your Faculty.
