  5. Cross-platform Scientific Document Preparation Package
The package utilizes public domain programs for typesetting, graphics, database, and has free utility programs.

  6. The Internet/World Wide Web: Tools and Resources
Creation of a multimedia/Web setup using freely available programs.

  7. WWW Archive for Electric Power Engineering Education
This is a clearinghouse page that was set up in 1994, and has been maintained to support the application of computational hypermedia based electrical engineering education.
This WWW Archive is the first of its kind, aiming to foster information sharing and cooperation among power engineering educators worldwide. It also serves as an information repository for CAL/Multimedia projects currently in placed at Australasian tertiary engineering schools. This archive has specific pages for Power Engineering teaching and learning resources. Educational research and development reports in engineering education in general and electrical engineering education in particular has its own page along with a listing of selected contributions presented in regional power systems and engineering education conferences. Also provided, links to other electric power systems and engineering education Internet sites (WWW, FTP, Gopher, etc.) as well as information about relevant upcoming conferences.

  8. Project coordination and management that uses the Internet and the Web tools and resources for publishing a hyperbook that aims to provide engineering resources including outcomes of power systems and power electronics research works to researchers and utility engineers. Five academics at five different local and overseas universities are involved in this project.
