Location

Wollongong is Australia’s 9th largest city and has a population of 300,000. Situated between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Wollongong is the ideal study destination. 

Wollongong is located only 90 minutes by car or train from central Sydney or 45 minutes from the popular student hub of Hurstville in Sydney’s south.

The main campus is only five kilometres from the centre of Wollongong and all courses and facilities are located on a single campus.

The University also has the Sydney Business School located in the heart of Sydney. The MBA, MBA (Advanced), Master of International Business and Master of Science (Logistics) degrees are offered at the Sydney Business School as well as on the main Wollongong campus. 

UOW offers students maximum choice of location – you can live in Wollongong, in central Sydney, or live mid-way between both cities (e.g. Hurstville), giving you access to the part-time job markets available in Wollongong and in Sydney.
