Students from other universities such as National University, The People’s University of Bangladesh, Dhaka International University and Queens University have also gained admission to UOW: the entry requirements may vary depending on the course completed.
The above percentages (which normally must be achieved over the final year in your Bachelor degree) are a guide only, are subject to change at any time and do not guarantee admission to the specified course. Students must meet all other entry criteria stipulated for each course, including the required academic content in previous studies, professional experience if required (e.g. for the MBA), English language requirement or any additional criteria specified.
Students not meeting the requirements for direct entry to a Masters program may be eligible for admission to a relevant Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate as a pathway to a Masters degree, where available.
There are several options for Bangladeshi students who want to complete a Bachelor degree at UOW:
1. Wollongong University College (WUC)
WUC (Sydney and Wollongong) offers pathway programs into Bachelor degrees offered by UOW and other universities in Australia. If you do not meet the entry requirements for a Bachelor degree, you can find the appropriate pathway course to get into University.
Many students who are already qualified to enter Year 1 of our Bachelor degrees choose to take a Diploma course with WUC, as the program matches the first year of the related Bachelor degrees (BBA, Commerce or IT courses) leading to direct entry to Year 2. A WUC Diploma can lead to savings on tuition fees and smoother visa application process for many students.
If you have a GPA of at least 3.0 (or 1st Class) in the Bangladesh HSC, you can apply for a 2-session WUC Diploma with a package offer for a Bachelor degree. Or you can obtain an offer for a 3-session Diploma and transfer to the Bachelor degree after completing your Diploma course.

3. Credit Transfer into Year 2

Students from other universities in Bangladesh, or seeking entry to other degrees (such as Engineering), can also apply for credit transfer.
