Students who participate in this program pay a fee which covers tuition, study materials, excursions, accommodation, and most meals. The academic program consists of lectures, workshops/seminars and reading. Tutorials and independent study sessions are also organised. The Summer School is a joint initiative of member universities of the Utrecht Network. The Utrecht Network is a group of 27 universities from almost every European country cooperating in the area of internationalisation. The members of the group are prominent and comprehensive Higher Education Institutions which assume a cultural responsibility alongside their educational and research tasks.
